Announcement: Insect School Opening Week
Now the Insect School website has launched, we are proud to make another announcement. From the 27th of June till the 1st of July, our physical Insect School location, including its test facilities, will be opened in the town of America in the Netherlands. During this festive opening week, various types of activities will be organized, including demonstrations and workshops.
Meeting place for the BSF industry
“I have always believed that a physical location has enormous benefits in sharing knowledge. By being able to meet like-minded people, sharing knowledge gets easier, faster and more fun. When there is a place to go and meet each other, it is easier to share and gain knowledge and experiences. A place where people from all backgrounds, ages and industries can come together to move the BSF industry, and ultimately our world, forward. To stop all the years of talking, and start putting intentions into practice, I took on the initiative and founded Insect School in 2022.”

Interactive expert session
On Thursday the 30th of June, an interactive expert session will be organized. In this activity, various experts in the insect sector will hold presentations and discussions to discuss the possibilities and goals in the world of insect protein. For this session, we are proud to announce that we will have speakers from Wageningen University & Research, New Generation Nutrition, Nijsen Company and Hub for Insect Knowledge. We invite you to visit the opening of the Insect School. To gather and share knowledge so that together, we can increase our impact on a sustainable future. For a world that we will be proud to pass on to future generations.
To register for the interactive expert session on the 30th of June, please fill in this form. Due to limited availability in parking, we can only give access to visitors who have registered. Unfortunately, all activities will only be organized on location. However, after the opening week has finished, you can read all about the opening week on the Insect School website.
